Squeezed Kewpie Japanese Mayo

Squeezed Kewpie Japanese Mayo
The Squeezed Kewpie Japanese Mayo is listed in both the food and bathroom sections, because it reads as a shampoo or lotion bottle, maybe even more so than Japanese mayo. I’ve included a small photo series to illustrate how puffy white condiment transformed into an angular bronze non-condiment. You’ll find it under “tubes" and “domestic” as well. Although I’m thinking I should get rid of the domestic section as that’s kinda my whole schtick is casting everyday domestic items in highfalutin bronze.
Given that the defining characteristic of the bottle is that you can squeeze it, and squeeze it in a way you really can’t squeeze American condiment bottles, it felt imperative to cast it in squeezed form. Like Kewpie mayo, Pearce bronze mayo is satisfying to hold, but the experience is quite unlike the amophic, soft-sided Japanese mayo bottle. But what Pearce bronze mayo lacks in malleability, it makes up for with its impressive weight and shelf-life.
There’s a shrinkage rate when molten bronze cools and hardens, explaining the difference in height between the original bottle and its alchemical cousin in bronze.
